Join us on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, from 5 pm to 8 pm (doors open and registration begins at 4:30 pm) at Avalon Healing Center for a Vegas Style casino fundraiser. We welcome everyone to come together and learn more about the importance of this work and the chance to contribute to a worthy cause . This event is also designed for men to join the table to feel safe, supported and educated on the topic of sexual violence. Casino night will include poker, craps, blackjack, roulette music and cigars. Light hors d'oeuvres, drinks and refreshments will be provided to all attendees. There will also be instruction opportunities to learn how to play these games if you have never before but always wanted to, without losing. Your support helps empower survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking. Avalon inspires healing and empowerment for those affected by sexual violence through free and immediate comprehensive services; promotes public awareness; and advances social change. We are inviting you to join us for this event at our new home located at 601 Bagley, Detroit, MI 48226. Vegas Style casino night attire encouraged. Parking is free. The entrance to our parking lot is located at 640 Michigan Ave. Tickets are $100.00 including $100.00 of funny money, two raffle tickets, two drink tickets and endless snacks and hors devours.
